Centerboard Yacht Club will be conducting a Youth Sailing Program this season focused on teaching basic skills to beginning and intermediate sailors. Kids 7 to 15 yrs. old will learn safety and fun on the water, single-handling an Opti Trainer on all points of sail, righting a capsized boat, an introduction to racing, and much much more! I was working on Soroki at the end of the dock this afternoon and was adjusting the fenders when I saw something in the water between the hull and the dock. At first I thought it was a dark colored baseball cap, half under water. I knealt down to get a better look and couldn't believe my eyes. It was a turtle, a good sized one at that, at least a foot from nose to tail.
