RULES The regatta will be governed by the
rules as defined in the ISAF The Racing
Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 including
US SAILING prescriptions. ELIGIBILITY Racing Class: Open to all Yachts holding valid PHRF
or NEMA certificate. If you have no
certificate, please go to http://www.phrfne.org/page/567
to get your base rating and then adjust it accordingly at http://www.phrfne.org/page/568. Please note adjustments for props, headsail
sizes, etc. Cruising Class: Open to all Yachts holding valid PHRF
or NEMA certificate or rating will be assigned from published PHRF-NE current
cruising ratings. ENTRY Eligible boats me enter by completing
the Registration Form and Waiver Form and sending them together with the
required fee to: Late entries will be accepted under
the following conditions: Through 6/18/2008, no scoring penalty After 6/18/2008, No races scored until
Entry is received. Classes: Racing A Racing B Cruising The Race Committee may, at its

COURSES Courses will be
posted on the Race Committee Boat prior to the start. Courses will be: (a.)
Selected from a list of predetermined courses and their
marks which will be provided at Registration. (b.)
A group of marks
from CYC MARKS list along with rounding information. PENALTY SYSTEM The scoring
penalty, rule 44.3 will not apply. SCORING Each race will
be scored separately under the low point system, and the total combined
points for all races will determine the winners in each class. In the event
of a tie, the lowest combined corrected time of all races will be the
determining factor. When fewer than
four races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of
her race scores. When from four
to six races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of
her race scores excluding her worst score. When seven or
more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of
her race scores excluding her two worst scores. AWARDS Prizes will be
awarded to the first three Finishers for
each class. The scores will be announced by email after each race. Prizes will be awarded at the Change of
Watch Banquet. Disclaimer of
Liability Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own
risk. See rule 4, Decision to
Race. The organizing authority will
not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death
sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. Insurance Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party
liability insurance with a minimum coverage of USD$ 100,000 per event or the
