Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work

Centerboard has engaged in meaningful diversity, equity and inclusion work since 2011. We use the framework and tools developed by VISIONS, Inc. to recognize, understand, and appreciate difference across many variables - going way beyond Federal and State EEOP requirements. In 2020, we were proud to consult with the Provider’s Council regarding the creation of their Call to Action on Racial Equity.

Our diversity, equity, and inclusion mission guides us to intentionally seek to not only acknowledge differences such as class, gender, race, level, etc., but truly try to recognize, understand and appreciate the impact of these differences in the work that we do in the community, with our colleagues and those we serve.

  • "The cohort gave my new ways of understanding the DEI work that we are doing in my organization and practical tools to implement at the workplace. Sharing this experience with 3 other members of my organization helped to nurture our relationships as we learned much more about each other."
