Tara Almeida, Centerboard Assistant Director of Youth Services, started her journey as a relief staff member 20 years ago and has made here way up to running over 5 residential youth programs.

"(Working here) I think I’ve learned that I have empathy and that I care a lot about the people at the program and the employees who work here also...I was a teen mom and I wasn't aware of the resources that were available. Working here and learning everything now I want to be able to help people because no one was able to help me.“
